Mine is DSL@256kbps and I pay around 280Rs per month.What about you?

Seems like u r using TriBAND...Atleast I am a great DSL plan with 1GB download limit during the day hours ie 8am to 12 am
And 12am to 8 am unmetered downloads...the plan is called 590NU(Night Unlimited) and costs Rs.590( usage charges)+ Rs 80(Modem rent) ie 670 a month.

0.4 GB is just enough for e-mails &
instant messaging (not for voice chat)
and limited browsing / surfing .
perhaps it is better to shift to 1GB
plan (2 AM - 8 AM free) as you are
interested in posting here . yes friend ,
posting at Mylot requires lot of bandwidth

Thanks for the tip but I have heard that BSNL follows some stupid tradition of allowing only 60MB of usage during 2-8am by showing some mysterious calculations.Someone posted this letter on the "digit" magazine.
