someone you love or someone who loves you?

i dont know if this was already discussed before,but i remember this is a common question about love.
if you will be trapped in an island, would you spend it with the person you love or with the person who loves you? of course we would want both. but just for the sake of discussion, you just have to choose one.
when you think about it, its pretty tough, but i always choose to be with the one who loves me. im sure in a deserted island, the person who loves me will protect me and will never ever hurt me. he will definitely take care of me. also, i will not be in control of what other people feels- so i cannot force the person i love to love me back & be happy with me. but if im with the one who loves me, i can be in control of myself. i can just teach myself to appreciate the person who loves me, then life will be lighter for us both...thats just my own point of view, pretty selfish though. how about you?

I would look for someone who loves me and I love him back in the same time. Of course it's safer to be with someone who loves you more than you do to him. However, love doesn't work that way. It's a mutual thing. What if someday you meet the one you love? Would you still be with the one who loves you? Being with someone who loves you is just an short time escape from real life. It's rediculous to teach oneself to love another person rather than feeling it from the bottom of your heart.

oh yeah, everyone will choose to be with the one the one they love & loves them at the same time. thats why i said 'IF' you just have to choose one- you cant choose both. who would you rather be in a deserted island.

i would choose the person who loves me of course, just like what you're thinking, he can protect me bu in real life, in real world i would choose both, the person who loves me and the person i also love..

yeah, im glad its just a question coz its so hard too choose. we're lucky to have the luxury to choose both. and in my case, the person i love, loves me too. thanks!
