Does any like rainbow? they are one of the rock music pioneers in my opinion. one of thier greatest songs is "temple of the king" which i love. Whats your take on the band?

Rainbow was one the bands i was really got into when i started playing bass some 30 years ago.
really got me into Ronnie James Dio too.
i was lucky enough to see them 3 times....unfortunately never with Dio though.
every time i saw them was with Graham Bonnet("Lost In Hollywood") singing.

I have been following Rainbow, Blackmore and DIo since as far backa s I can remember. If you follow Dio, on all of his CD's since departing from Blackmore's Rainbow, he makes reference to "Rainbow" quite often. Rainbow in The Dark!
Sounds like someone is still bitter after all these years.

Wow you are lucky indeed to have seen them 3 times!! Dio is amazing....I havent heard Graham Bonnet singing.

I like Maiden's Rainbow covers but never heard any Rainbow songs performed by them...

I love the group rainbow, i think my greatest song i love most is all night long. Brill, espically very loud on headphones

Yeah, All night long is a great song.I love it too...almost all their songs are great though. I think my favourite would be street of dream.:)have you listened to that song?
