How Often Do You Watch Television?

According to a recent study, American women with children under the age of 6 spend an average of one and one half hours a day watching television. Men without children spend an astounding 4 1/2 hours per day. On average, how many hours per day do you watch television? (Be honest now!)

before, when i was still a student and had lots of free times to watch tv, i think i spend at least 5 hours in front of the tv everyday. and during weekends, it is more than that. i can watch tv all day taking breaks during meals and baths. ^__^;; when i started working, my tv watching lessened a lot. like during weekdays, i only get to watch tv for at least two hours depending on the kind of show. if i like the shows, i can watch for 3 hours. if not, i'd be spending at least two hours. on weekends, i still watch tv all day. that was when i still didn't have internet connection at home. now that i have an internet connection at home, i seldom watch tv during weekends. i'd watch for at least an hour at nights.

hello kellys3ps I am not very much addicted to watch TV. I am an office goer and after returning from Office I used to site before PC and doing my job. Thereafter I watch TV only for news channel. I am very interested to see history, discovery channel and sports channel. Daily I use to watch tv hardly 2 to 3 hrs.

Though I am not an american,still I spend 2 to 3 hours in front of television. It is a good way to spend time. To make it much fruitfull,I like watching Documentaries of History Channel,Nat Geo,Animal planet and Discovery.

yup i watch tv and most of the time my televisions stays on for more than 15 hours as far as i can estimate it. haha! i do love watching tv even though i face my laptop and type on the discussions back here in mylot and to my poststoriches accounts. just hearing the lines with my ears, it is as if i am watching the show it is being shown in the television. it relaxes me. there are moments that i take a peek on what is being shown. haha. yeah yeah. i am like wasting electricity. ahaha! my bad!

I get home from work around 6:00 and the tv is usually already on because my husband is home all day. I catch bits and pieces of the news while I'm fixing dinner but, as far as sitting down and actually watching, I would say I watch about four hours of tv per day.
