Does your dog eat fruit???

That's actually funny. ANd to think that your daughter is eating the fruit as well!!! But we don't feed our pets human food. My vet tells me that eating anything other than dog food will damage the dogs' fur and skin, so we never give them real human food to eat. SOmetimes we'd sneak some chocolate to them as a treat but it only happens once a year when we have too much candies from trick or treating. :)

That is toooo cute, them sharing a pear. My dog loves bananas, cantelope and watermelon. Well she did like watermelon, until one day when she decided she didn't like it anymore. I was scooping it out, handing her a bite, and I thought she was eating it. To my surprise, she was looking the other way and spitting it out where I couldn't see it, until I got up to take the plate inside! And there was this little pile of watermelon. lol She still loves bananas though, and apples.

The only fruit or veg. that my dog seems to like is carrots. I let him eat them because I think they are good for his teeth. Never give your dog onions or grapes though. They can be toxic. Dogs are best to stick to dogfood if possible,but it's hard when they always want to eat everything. the little stinkers.

My little dog, Sugar, showed up at our gate one day a few years ago and has been our dog every since so we don't know much about her. What we do know is that she understand some Spanish (we live in Florida) and that she loves the little bananas that grow around here. She's normally a sweet dog but she will try to rip your hand off is she gets her paws on a coconut that's been opened. She also likes watermelon.

HEHEHE.. your Dog is so funny and kinda sound cute.. i love dogs a lot. i have 9 year old dog named SAKURA.. hehehe. i named her after one of my favorite anime character . from the anime series CARD CAPTOR SAKURA...hehehe.. my dog eats everything.. like if she saw you eating, she will also going to eat the food.. heheh. basically everything.

Yeah they do. We have three dogs, two are puppies, and they all enjoy the taste of different fruits and veggies. They really like several types of berries. So we buy packs of frozen fruits and add them to their meals. We also have a small apple tree in our yard and they eat a lot of the apples that have fallen, lol.

My dog is a lab, she will eat pretty much everything, except lettuce. But she DOES like spinach leaves. In fact, she'll go nuts for it. Tomatos, apples, she's not picky!

My dog don't eat fruits. It eats only dog biscuits.

I believe it can have fruit. A couple years ago I found a vendor sold a baby dog to a man. He advise the man not to feed meat to the dog would not have cereals and vegetables. And one of my cowork said that she feed her dog with gourd and cereal. So I believe it is not strange that the dog eat fruit.

Well our dog really loves mango and I really don't why.My mom usually buy mangoes when she is comin home and there you are the doggy is waiting for her yellow bone..:-) God bless and have a nice day

yeah,some dogs eats some fruits and vegies. our dog always begs when we eat something, he comes running after us. i let him perform a trick and after he did i gave him a banana. he loves to eat too.

oh yeah! but not a lot of fruits... our dog is belgian malinois and she's still young... and she eats bananas! i think she's not fond of it. but at least, she eats it! :) kids and dogs sharing a fruit looks good. nice.

Haha and here i thought my dogs where the only ones who did this odd thing. I have two dogs, a pure white one and a mixed white and brown one. The white one loves to cherries. We have a cherries tree in our backyard and every morning I pick some and give it to him when the tree is bearing fruit. Right now it is in season so I do that. I hardly eat those cherries myself. I picked some for my boyfriend the other day and I use them to decorate desserts when I am taking pictures of it. The brown and white one loves to lick the juice of the cashew fruit when I am collecting the seed/nut. SO I usually poke a hole in the cashew fruit with my finger and squeeze it so the juice would come flowing out and he just laps it up. They both eat ripe bananas, watermelon and a host of other fruits and veges, but usually if the veges are cooked not raw. I think it's nice that they eat it, it's natural and I bet it'll keep them healthy.

Good day... Wow great dog. My dog has the same urges to eat bananas and watermelon. It really drives me crazy watching my dog eating it but still I love her so much.

All the dogs I had in my lifetime never liked fruit but my great dane on the other hand loves pickles and will eat a huge jar of them if you let him or usually he helps himself.

My pet pug eats all kinds of fruits. When you eat banana, she will come running to you and begging for it. She can smell mangoes as soon as you walk through the door. She eats apples, pears, oranges, papaya and even vegetables!Luckily she's too short to steal any fruits from the tables. HAHA
