What music do you like to listen to?

I usually listen to metal music and it's my preference for music. But i think my type of music identifies me because people look at me as someone simple and ordinary unlike the flamboyant and noisy atmosphere of metal. I don't even grow my hair long! lol! So i guess that kind of theory doesn't apply to all. I do listen to soft music from time to time just to give my mind some relaxation after some strenous activity. I'm pretty much flexible really when it comes to music.

I like listening to light rock music just like the music of Christopher Cross and James Taylor. Sometimes I will shift to pop rock just like the music of Billy Joel.These kind of music give me a nice mood.

I love Indian music of all kinds. Be it the film music or Indian classical, folk, gazals, devotional or any kind of Indian music. I have had limited exposure to music from beyond but love some of the English oldies too. Don't know enough about them to comment on genres though.

It's really the mood that dictates the music I want to listen. But usually I listen to alternative or R&B. But I am the kind of person that dives into all sort of genre. I am experimentalist and even it's not my type of genre, I listen to it for the sake of having a diverse knowledge in music.

Yeah your right, it reallt goes sometimes with the mood and the occasion..but for me I would never go for metal since it sounds like a torture to my ears...I never like those sounds just like sreaming and shouting!
