My boyfriend of six years. Has asked me to marry him. I said yes! He has me planning our wedding. He told me it could be whatever I wanted. I choose to have Blue and Orange as my wedding colors. Blus is because that is his favorite color and orange is mine. These colors are also our favorite football teams colors. So my question to you. What was your wedding colors or theme? If your not married what would you want them to be? Happy MyLotting!!

We did not really have colour themes or anything like that, we were married in a registry office. I had an ivory wedding dress and no bridesmaids and I just had colour co ordinated flowers to go with my dress and then at the reception!

We had carnations in red, pink and white. Carnations are great for lasting, I had mine for weeks after the wedding.

Carnations seem prettier than roses to me. I have always liked them. My mom is the first person to ever give me a flower. It was a carnation and I loved it. Happy MyLotting!! Keep up all your posting!!

Congratulations! I'm getting married myself later this year in November, the theme i guess is not a traditional one, we're not getting married in a church and i'm not having a white dress. The theme is possibly more fantasy fairy tale, there will be dragonflys and the colour is purple, with white a bit of silver. Purple is my faveourite colour, and white contrasts well with it.

Congrats on your wedding! I don't have a date yet, but I'm also having a fairy theme - A Midsummer's Night Dream. My colors are a kind of ultraviolet purple and a light green color. I have thought of several ideas for party favors. Maybe something from www.pixiepotions.com or even personalized lip balm from www.mylipstuff.com

CONGRATS!!!! Our wedding colors were a pale yellow and purple. We didn't really have a theme but did have a scrapbook table set up for every one to do a page. We had mattte pages out along with markers and stickers. Every one did that instead of signing into a guest book. It worked out great.

Hello carrieandjohn! I would have to say that I would be more on the traditional side. Of course I would be in a lovely all white, off the shoulder, wedding dress and my sweetie, who's name just happens to be John also, will be in black because I love black on him. He just looks sooooooo sexy. The brides maids will be in gold and the grooms will be in white w/gold accessories. Congratulations and God Bless your union with John

That sounds like abeautiful wedding. We both have been married before so we decided to go a little different this time. We want something that we can share and remember. So we have decided to go with our favorite football team colors. Our parents think it will be a lite orange and blue. What they don't understand is it is dark colors. Happy MyLotting!! Keep up the post.

Well bein about as southern as it gets. We had red white and blue for the Texas Flag. We had little rebel flags on the favors and about 7 texas flags hung in the room. Our cakes were camo but Everything else (including my weddin dress) was those proud Southern Colors.

My first wedding was two days after Christmas and we chose deep purple and burgundy along with white and cream (and green from the pine trees and decorative pine boughs). If I were to get a second wedding I think I would chose lighter brighter colors, not exactly pastels though. I would include pink, yellow, green, blue and lavendar...and of course white and cream. It would also be a warm weather wedding instead of winter!

Beyond.... When We had pictures taken right after the ceremony, a friend of mine said (some 22 years ago) hey You have got to try this. Both of You sit down on the grass back to back and it was a great shot sort of like a whew it's over! And the photo itself is one of my favorites to this day. I'll see if I can scan it and post it here at my lot. It's definately not a traditional photo. Of course we did do all the traditional ones as well.

Wow Congradulations! We had a beautiful Royal Blue for our color. I guess I didn't really have another color. So other things like the flowers were either the same or another shade of blue. We did things pretty traditional, since I had a white gown and he had a black suit. I wish You all the luck. I can't say I would want to do the wedding planning again but since You kinda avoided that the first time enjoy it this time. God Blesses! Sandy

I am very nervious. I have never planned a wedding nor have I really had much to do with weddings. This is going to be a first time thing. I am thinking about doing all the wedding favors ourselves. They will be cheaper than buying them. Any helpful ideas could help. Happy MyLotting!!

another thought I just had. People put fabric markers to sheets for a baby shower for the newborn, so if You want to do something different You might want to have Your guests personalize sheets, or pillow cases for You with fabric markers. I personally thought it sounded like the most colorful unique idea for the baby shower, and I really think it could be fun for sheets at a wedding, or the wedding shower, or at the gift opening. We did the gift opening the next morning at my Mom's house. That sure made it easier. We then went off to play for the rest of the day and We worked the next am at 6 am both of us. It was a short/quick wedding lols. It was what we could afford, I am sure glad My daughter is only 15 and My son was first he's 21 and in college so I hope to avoid dealing with that anytime soon.
