Hi to all,
I am suffering every single month. What do I need to do besides taking Midol? Any home remedies? I have to kinda deep breath to ease the pain, but the pain wont go away. When I do bleed, it is very heavy flow. Is it normal? Is there something that I need to be concern with? Woman who suffer too, what seems to ease the pain when u do have aunt flo visit you? I can not take any other pain reliever other than Midol for I get red rashes and bumps in my face. Any suggestion?

I had a recent test 2 months ago. I had a inside and out ultrasound to further investigate my painful menstrual. Result were ok. Doc said, "It is normal for a woman to feel pan during menstrual heavy flow, because your body helps get rid of the clots out of your body naturally. This is why you will feel pain." She give me tramadol because it is the only pills I would never get sick, also it will not give me any red rashes on my face.

Two of my daughters have very painful periods with a heavy flow so I recommended that they try birth control pills or take the Depo shot, which you take every three months for birth control. My middle daughter tried the pill and it didn't help much so she started taking the Depo shot about a year ago and has gotten a lot of relief from that. When I was taking it my periods stopped altogether, which is what happens with many women. In my daughter's case, she has some spotting but that's it and very little, if any, cramping.

Yes, I took depo 4 years ago. Yes It was wonderful for not having any pain and not having any menstrual monthly. The thing is that I cannot take it now since I am TTC. Doctors said if woman wants to get pregnant and they are on depo they have to wait for 2 years for it to get out of your systems. It has been 4 years now, im TTC for a year nothings happen yet. This is why I am suffering. No baby yet.

Try a heating pad that is suppose to help out a lot. Have you have this checked by a doctor? Often serious pain is a sign of a bigger problem.
There are herbal teas that you can buy that are meant to help with your period and some that you drink daily that helps get your body on track and lessen the cramps, amount you bleed, etc.
