Who knows the difference in Sparrow tattoos ans Swallow tattoos?

hi , I am sorry you are getting all these different kinds of responses . What I have learned over the years working in parlors and learning bits a pieces of this lineage is that, swallows and sparrows are just about the same thing meaning wise, Also they tend to be just about the same kind of bird in old traditional flash sets. The meaning as I know it , and I may be wrong on this is that they are a good luck symbol for sailors. When a sailor was about to make their first trips across seas they would get their birds done for good luck . I would love to get my birds , yet at this time I have made plans to go over seas and I plan to get them before I would "sail" .. I hope this helps you some
