I agree a good movie is nothing without the famous line that everyone knows and can remember,I would say that my favorite movie would have to be Star Wars because of the famous line from Darth Vader where he goes "Luke I am your father" because it helps tie the movie together, and advances the plot, and I think everyone would be able to remember that line.

I dont know if it is my favorite movie line, but the one that comes to mind is "You cant handle the truth" from a few good men. I guess the most famous one is "Play it again Sam" delivered by Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca. That was a good movie, although typically I dont like old flicks like that.

Yeah I remember that line, Jack Nicholson said that right? He said it to no other than Tom Cruise acting as a Navy Lawyer while Jack is a Colonel who ordered a Code Red. I haven't had the chance to watch Casablanca but I heard lots of good things about it. Hope I could find one in a videoshop near here so I could rent it and watch it. Thanks snowy22315.

I love movie trivia. One of the funniest lines in a movie is one that Matthew McConaughey says on "Dazed and Confused": That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.

Arnold's one liner "I'll be back" is really a classic. I just don't know if that line made him famous or he is famous before he said that line. Either one will do but it is a catchyline, it's like what General Douglas MacArthur told the Filipinos but hisline was "I shall return" before leaving the Philippines. Anyways nice response egdcltd. That is one of the top famous lines that I know.

Never got the chance to watch that movie but I know it's a classic and one of the greatest movie that was ever made. I'll add this to my movie list the next time I go out and rent tapes, if it's still available.

I love the line in Charlie's Angels: Full throttle's ' Bring it on b*****'... I can't get out of my head since I watched the film... Such a trademark, LOLs

Was it Cameron Diaz who said that or was it Lucy Liu or Drew Barrymore said. I can't recall but I think it was the first one right before they do their famous pose or was it after they made their pose. Now I'm really confused. But what I'm really sure of is that someone said that to Demi Moore. Thanks Jeiyah_12.
