ironing clothes - the chore that i hate the most

Monday is my busy day. I do the laundry, I cook dinner, I iron clothes, haaay, the life of a stay at home wife...but its ok, its just on mondays. The rest of the day, i can focus on my online studies, can hit the gym, go shopping and relax a bit... But assessing all the household chores i perform, folding the clothes that just came out of the dryer & ironing the one that needs to be straighten up is the one that i hate the most. What household chore do you hate the most?

Hmmm... It's probably a tie between the dishes and the kitty litter box. Dishes? Oh yes... dishes. Why you ask? Because even though there's only me and my hubby in the house, it seems like every time I get the sinks clean and spotless and all the dishes washed and put away, I turn around and there's a sink full of dishes waiting for me downstairs again! I can't win!! And the Kitty litter box, just because my cat makes up for three kitties. _

I do all the chores most of the time except if my husband is in a good mood he would help me sometime! I would say I don't like ironing and washing!

I found a great way around this. I try to only buy cloths that do not require ironing. Lots of fabrics if you dry them hanging on coat hangers will straighten naturally and you don't need to iron them.

I think it's cleaning out the fridge (cold and my fridge has an alarm when it's open for too long) you have to bend down a lot to get inside the fridge. I also seem to put off putting out the garbage as I am 3 floors up so I have to carry my rubbish down the stairs, then cart the bin up the driveway to the street on collection night.

thats a funny fridge, but it will sure save electricity coz u'll never miss it when its not properly closed. so do you mean the alarm goes on & on while ur cleaning it up? gosh thats really annoying! lol!

I hate doing dishes and putting laundry away. I would gladly cook all day if someone else would clean up after me. As for putting away the clothes I just don't have anywhere to put them. When the people remodeled the house I live in they took out all the closets, so everyone has a dresser but still not enuff room because they arfe small dressers.

i hate it when theres no enough room for clothes. hubby & i live in an apartment, the walk-in closet isnt big enough for me so i cannot organize the clothes, which makes folding them a dreaded chore! i hope ur enjoying mylot.

Oh since I've become pregnant, all chores have become a burden. lol. I get very tired easily, so I have to pace myself. We do not use our dishwasher, so I have to wash dishes by hand, which is very tiring for me. I absolutely love doing laundry. Anything that requires me to pick up something from the floor is difficult. I just try to move at a slower pace.

i hate doing that too but i discovered 'easy off'. u just spray it & leave it for 24 hours & all the burnt things comes off by themselves.

I do not like bathroom chores. My husband usually does it. I do not like folding an putting away clothes either. I do not mind the washing part, most of our things need little or no ironing.

Oh well. I am a full time mom with 3 kids and no yaya or house help. I love doing household chores, doing the laundry, ironing clothes, cooking but I hate doing the dishes!

i hate doing the laundry and ironing clothes. we dont have a dryer and spinner so we have to hang it first. It takes awhile before finally finishing this chore. I also hate washing pots and pans.

Without a doubt - hoovering. It's just so unsociable. You can't talk to any one else in the house, you can't listen to music or the television. You just have to listen to that infernal machine and it's overly loud sucking noises as you shunt it round from room to room. At least with other chores you can chat and listen to music etc.

oh i'll hate that too but my place is too small, im done in a flash. also, one privelege we get from apartment living is free carpet cleaning anytime, plus i dont have kids, so me & the hubby can keep the carpet clean for so long... but ur right, when i iron& fold clothes, i can still watch TV, but i fold ugly when i do,LOL
