I just recently bought me a treadmill. I had been wanting one for a long time and couldn't make up my mind on what kind I wanted. I had been to a bunch of different stores looking at different ones. I was watching HSN on television one weekend and they had a pro form treadmill on there. I watched a little bit of it and decided that was the one I wanted to buy. It's really nice. It has a fan on it and it came with a mp3 player that you can plug into the treadmill and listen to because the treadmill has speakers on it. It also came with a little card you can plug into the treadmill and do the walk for eight weeks and you can lose weight. I've been walking on it a lot and am starting to feel a lot better about myself. So I was wondering who all here has a treadmill? And if you do have one what kind do you have?

i have a treadmill at home. i got the seven in one type, there is the treadmill, a bike, you can do rowing, sit-ups among others on it. i was actively using it for only a couple of months. now it is just stored. i guess one should only buy a treadmill if one is really committed to exercising, otherwise it will just be money wasted and eating up your storage space, as it became for me.

I've never seen the seven in one kind before. That would be neat.

I used to have a treadmill but I sold it to a friend because it took up alot of room that I don't have and I have a gym membership which I can go use the treadmills there. They are nice they have tv's built right into them. Now it is just getting myself to get up there.

HI,I dont have a treadmill, but I keep asking my hubby to buy one.I go for regular walk everyday nearly 6 kms.but people say walking is best that treadmill,so we keep postponing to buy one in fear of going waste if we buy one, bcoz we wont use it if we feel walking is better.

I have always wanted one and was thinking of getting one, and one day I am going to get one, I try to walk often, we have walking trails, and we have a place to walk inside at the sports complex here, but I would love to own my own treadmill, that is a good idea for someone to get that for me for Christmas.

I am on my second treadmill my first one I had quit on me. My treadmill is a NordicTrack Treadmill.
It has four different programs to select for a good workout. It also has an incine,I can create my own programs, a heart monitor. When I first got the treadmill I used it a lot, but I got tired of walking on it and quit for a while. Right now I go outside and walk in the evening when it cools off. This winter I mught start walking on it again.

Yeah, it's nice in the evenings here right now to walk but when it gets too cold I don't enjoy walking outside.

I don't have a treadmill in the house. My house is to small for one. But across the street there is the civic center which has a fitness room upstairs and I go over there and use theirs. It is just a basic treadmill with no extra's to it. But when I go over there I bring my CD with me and my walking music. I like to incline the treadmill so it is like I am walking on a hill.

I like to walk with the high incline too. And I have to listen to music each time I'm on there. It seems like it makes my walk go a lot faster if I'm listening to the music that I like.

I also have a treadmill. I've always wanted a treadmill. I bought mine around the first year of college and I just love mine. It's not as fancy as yours but it does the job. It has a fan, it has different programs for me to try. It has I think 12 different speeds and 10 different levels of incline.

I have a tread mill, I have had a few years now. I think they are very useful, no excuse to stop exercising just because its rainning - that goes for walking the dog too. lol

I do have a treadmill, but right now mine is locked up in my shed. I put it away during the warm summer months as I prefer to walk outside any way. Once the cold weather comes, I put it in my sunroom where I also have a pilates machine. The two exercises together make for a very good work out and I find that when I do this regularly, I am able to keep the weight off and keep in good shape.
Good luck with your walking and keep up the good work. Your hard work will pay off soon.

Hi! We have a treadmill at home. I always wanted one when I was a kid because I think it would really be fun to run on it. My mom bought one this year to lose weight and keep ourselves fit. We bought one that is not powered by electricity because if we bought an electric-powered one, I'm pretty sure our electricity bills will boost. So my brother and I convinced her to buy a "manual" treadmill. It's fun but the platform is raised to emulate a hill. It really helps lose weight but it also helps the leg muscles get stronger and really toned (which some women might not like. I don't mind though). It doesn't have entertainment features so we just placed it in our living room in front of the TV. We also have a stereo in the room so that's another plus!
I'm quite fat and I tried the treadmill several times. I would go on for an hour with rest intervals. But because of my knee condition, I prefer not to use the treadmill until I'm thin enough to run on it without damaging my knees. So I just diet and have lost nearly 20 lbs. I hope to get thinner so I can run on that treadmill again
Happy MyLotting and Treadmill-ing!
