To me the most unforgetable birthday is the one organised by my boy friend who is my husband now. Got a year, he planned out to bring me to a beach to celebrate my birthday together with my other friends. He even bought fireworks and lit it up at night. It is a surprise to me. I am not sure how he made my parents to let me stay overnight outside. I am really shocked to find out that my parents actually can hide the surprise from me until the day they come and fetch me out too! What about yours?

It's very sweet of your boyfriend who now ur hubby.
My most unforgetable birthday was 21st birthday. It should be the most craziest birthday of all i had. I had kisses from all my friends. My face & hands were all full of lipstick mark kisses. & i had 21 candles on my cake. I like to see many candles on birthday cake. It did really cheer me up. & i was bumped into the cake. How could i forget this????

Erm, I agree with you! That is craziest birthday, haha! I wonder how it is like being kissed by so many people! Ok, one of the reason why I do not like cake on birthday is that people like to waste the cake when pushing the birthday person onto the cake. ;p

My most unforgettable birthday....It was after my marriage...we were on honeymoon trip, in India...
On that particular birthday we were in AGRA...We were three couples...for honeymoon...and we gathered at TAJ MAHAL...one of the wonders of the world,,,,,I can never forget that birthday....right in front of TAJ...in moonlight...TAJ was shining ....
Have you ever been there?

That would have to be my 21st. No I didn't go out and party. I didn't even have one drink. My grandmother was dying of cancer. I spent it with her. She and I had birthdays one day apart. We always celebrated together. It meant alot to me.

Sorry as for me, my most unforgettable birthday is also the saddest one :( It was me & my twin's 23rd birthday and 2 days before it, our only older passed away :'( he had a seizure from his brain tumor a week before (which we only knew about for 5 months and he was undergoing radiation and seemed to respond very well to it)--it was his first seizure and he went straight in a coma--he was 32 years old...That's why that year, we really didn't feel like celebrating at all...it was just too heartbreaking for us...
But reading the posts here sure is wonderful, just so nice to read how peopl just celebrate you! Enjoy your day! :)

i guess it was when i was reviewing for the board exam. during it, i stayed in another city for some months and i met a couple of nice friends there. early dawn on my birthday they surprised me with a "mañanita". mañanta is when friends and relatives goes to your house at around dawn and wakes you up with beautiful singing. i was not expecting for them to do it and i was so surprised and felt loved and appreciated because of it. that somehow made my day ^_^

Wow, that is really warming. Friends and family always make simple things to be beautiful and special! And thanks, "mananita", I learn something new today! Kekeke

That's a bit hard as there were a few special ones. One time my sister organised a surprise pyjama party and there was a very late night celebrating and drinking. Then some people slept over and my sister made us get up and clean up (with hangovers) and she took us on a mystery tour. We went to Magnetic Island and boarded a catamaran for a day of sailing around the island and stopping for a snorkel and a barbecue on the boat - that was pretty special.
Another birthday I had I was on a Beach - for a full moon party - so that was pretty special as well.

I think it is always good to celebrate birthday at another place. We get to enjoy the place and do "wild" things! Is full moon party for a baby?

WOW! Your then boyfriend so romantic laa..you made the right decision to marry him! My most unforgettable birthday unfortunately not organised by husband. Hee..lets hope he won't get to read this response 'x'!! It was my 18 yrs old birthday, my ex brought me to a scenic spot. He asked me to close my eyes, I heard car door open and closed. And when he asked me to open my eyes, there in front of me, a beautiful cake with candles, and he sang birthday song. I can remember this birthday very very well, since my last birthday cake at that time was like when I was 7/8 years old. I was excited to get a birthday cake after YEARS of CAKE-LESS birthdays..AHAHAH

I give you the best response for your courage! LOL! You are funny, no worry, even if you hubby read this, he will be able to understand. I am sure your hubby will try his best to give you an unforgetable birthday just to beat your ex if he happened to read this! ;p By the way, timing is important.

Hmm...a quiet birthday could be special too. I used to spend my birthday quietly actually. I like to write something when I am alone on my birthday. I think it is not too bad.
