I have seen so many times this thing that I just want to know whether there is any pshycological barrier to this.In my college days in our college bus friends used to make noise of all kinds. But the same people when taken up a service then they also remain silent while travelling by bus?Let me know if there is any reason for such behaviour?

i guess because some wanted to take a good rest and a good trip. some wants to look at the places and wanted to appreciate it while on the go. i mean you can't do that when you're talking, not unless you're talking about it.
me too, i don't talk much while on a bus or on a trip. i want to just travel in peace. hehehe..

ya might be .. I think you are partially right but yet again you are telling the known part of it? I just want if there any psychological thinking related to this?because i see people stop talking when getting into the bus although they talked heavily on the bus stop?
