English Mastiffs

Does anyone out there have a english mastiff? Ive had mine for almost 4 yrs and his name is Bear. Recently hes started getting callouses on his elbows. Ive tried placing socks on them just for him to pull them off, also I placed a mattress on the back deck and he refuses to lay on it. I was wondering if there was a type of cream or something that would clear this up. Ive been putting neosporion on it in the meantime. Thank you.
