do u cover your mouth while yawning

Yes. when I am in public place, I always cover my mouth. I don't want them to see my tongue and my lungs when I am yawning.

I wun cover my mouth when i'm yawning at home, but i will keep my yawning down, as i dun need to announce to the whole world.. haha =D But if i'm in public, i will cover my mouth as a form of basic courtesy, and also hygiene purpose.. hehe =D Imagine seeing somebody yawning without covering their mouth, and see their food stuck at their teethm it's so disgusting.. haha =D ANd also, i hate it when ple yawn so loudly in public as if they are the only one there..

well i am just like you. if i am in public i'll definitely cover my mouth. however, i don't really bother at home. that is if i'm alone at home. if i am with my family i'll still cover my mouth. i just find that courteous to cover my mouth. it's so strange to be looking into a person's wide-open mouth as in the case of yawning. i guess i'm pretty rigid about this. just like i don't chew with my mouth open. cheers ;p

It is a good habbit to cover mouth whenever we are yawning whether it is in house or on a public place. whenever we open our mouth for yawn it expell more bad air from the inner part of our mouth and it produces badsmell in the area. So do make a good habbit by covering the mouth.

i really enjoy yawning ... when i am tired .. it comes out with a loud sound .. did you know it is contageous .. when i yawn, my huband will follow .. then we will hug and yawn ..

yes, i do. even at home... or mosquitoes, flies or other insects might come in my mouth! LOL! :))

i am the same as well, though sometimes, i do cover my mouth even when alone. it has become a habit you could say. only sometimes, i will forget but if not, my mouth is usually covered.

yes your right I did that also, when I'm in a public place and many people I cover my mouth. But when I'm at home all alone I din't bother to cover it, unless my mom cleaning our house. Lol.

reading your topic made me yawn...sorry its not coz of boring or something just came to office ...and started my day...yes i always do keep my hands on my mouth to cover while yawning its a good habbit to do so and i have been thought to do it since when i was a child....i even do it for my childrens if they yawn and don't keep their hands on their mouth i do it for them and seeing this next time they themselves do it.
