Be it a family's members name or a friend's name?? What is the unusual name you have come across? Whats the strangest way you have seen a name spelt??
I have been researching my family tree and have come across the name Pickles, Hatley, Kitchen (named after the mother's maiden name!!), Greenwood, Asher, Millicent and Abel to name a few odd names. I havent come across any friends with unusual names, well none that I can think of at this time!!
So whats the unusual name you have come across?? Have you got any unusual names picked out for your children??

I have never come accross any silly family names but my mums name is Hazel and my dads friend was Dennis Nutt and every one used to joke that if they had got married instead she would have been a hazelnut LOL. I think the most stupid names are the silly celebratey ones like FifiTrixibell or the place the child was conceived, crazy but as they say thats show biz eh! Ellie :D

I have a friend called Emma who was teased about a boy as his name was Tony Dale so if she married him she would become Emma Dale (Emmerdale) as in the tv soap!! She didnt find it amusing!!!
I think celebrities are trying to win an award for the strangest names possible!! i dont think they even think about what the children will have to go through at school!!

one of my friends name is 'Lord'. i don't know how he got that that name. but we are always asking him our wishes.it' is really unusual in our region to have name like that

I think he could be about the only one named Lord!! I have never come across someone with that name before!! He must get annoyed with all the jibes about being the Lord and whatnot!! It would be interesting to find out why he was named Lord and what made his parents pick it!!

my friends best friend is naming her baby octavion.
my husbands name is octavio and he said that name put disrespect to his name

It would have to be VLADIMIR. It sounds like a name from the friends of Count Dracula. Also, a common name that I find weird is Baby. Why because when the "Baby" becomes a grandma, it sounds weird calling them "Baby". LOL!
Same with "Lola" and "Honey". LOL!
