how much do you use smileys ?

I am not aware of it. I dont know how to use smileys here. :( sad. Oh really? If thats the case that they are paying more to those who uses smileys, I must know how ehehe. Thanks.

If mylot pays for using the smileys, we would see lots and lots of smileys all over the forum. I have never used it too. Maybe I should do it. It does help others to know our expressions or emotions. Mostly, we post responses too fast that's why we never put any smileys. Thank you for this discussion.

Dear friend, I mostly use smileys I hope it is just a symbolic representation of our feelings more of smileys can convey with less typing or our feelings could project through this simleys with more perfection. May be mylot do give better consideration with simleys. My expression now are here

I have no idea if it pays or not. I reached 200 yesterday only. Before reaching that I was waiting for 200 to add smileys. But after reaching that I keep forgetting that I could add smiley. Very rarely I use smileys. Here after I will try to use it regularly.. Hehe.

Well, I turned 200 yesterday and am yet to use a smiley. I think sometimes they look out of place in discussions. That said I guess they can be useful in indicating the tone of your words, especially is writing sarcastically. Sometimes your words might sound a little harsh but seeing a smiley can help you to understand that the person writing them did not mean to offend. As for mylot paying for smileys. I agree with the previous comment. If everyone thought that was the case they would be EVERYWHERE! Anyway, might as well get started, got to jump in the deep end sometime right?

Hi skenthal, I am not sure but using smileys and icons make me believed that I am earning an additional cents in what I use to earn! Just my plain observation!

hi well i do use smileys a lot but may be not every message and sometimes i forget to use them hehe but most of the time i use them because i like using them.

I have not reached the 200 goal for smiley usage...but I will use them. I like the idea of using them as a tool of communication. This form of communication, writing posts, emails and such can be so limiting. The reader may easily misunderstand the tone of the post (or email, etc). With a smiley or two - strategically placed can really help communicate the emotions behind it. Especially for people like myself - who can be a bit on the sarcastic side once in a while. A smiley can help express it clearer (still not as clear as saying "I am being sarcastic" - but it is a whole lot easier and faster than writing "I am being sarcastic" every time). Plus...a smiley here and there can "brighten" the message up. They just make me smile. :-) Thanks for the discussion. I learned quite a bit...and cannot wait to use the smileys!

Good for you then skenthal. I love to use smilies but since I'm still below the 200post mark all I can type is hahaha or LOL when I want to laugh. I just still find it hard how to react with someone I'm hiding with, with the 'ninja' emoticon or when i feel disgusted over some topic but couldn't use the 'rolleyes' emoticon. I just avoid posting instead! hahaha... Hope myLot would give me some soon, so I can decorate my replies and posts. LOLs!

the smileys just add emotions to what you're saying... it's like the smiley's what your facial expression is now. :)

Yay! finally! anyhow, hmm, am not sure if it helps with teh earnings, but I agree with you, putting smileys just makes it more fun to read! Now I can really smile thanks!

I don't use the smileys because I never considered using them. I guess they seem a little dull too. Or maybe I just like using "different" smileys. :]

hi skenthal, yes i like the smiley . i use them almost in every post i post. using smiley we can express our feeling an emotion clearly. instead of using the series of marks (!!!!!, ???????) i much prefer use the smileys. i have no idea if it increases our earning or not . i just used it for fun.

When I started mylot,I am always using smiles and stuffs like that.:-0 Every 2 or 3 sentences I will put some smiles to the end of it and I just love to put them..:-0 I just like it..:-0

i usaully never use smileys. i think it doesnt really matter if there in it or if there not. but thats just my view.
