In the latest season of America's Next Top Model, there is a transgender contestant (she was born male). What do you think about this scenario?

I posted this discussion last week, and only got one response, hopefully you will do better than I did.
If this person has had a complete reversal, then she should be considered a female, and be treated like all the other ladies.
I am wondering, if she had reverted to a female, why would she reveal that she was a man? I guess anything for attention.
The show starts back up on September 3, hope I do not forget to watch, it should be really interesting.

You're right, she wants attention that's why she revealed her former gender. But she's not really that pretty so I dont think she'll win.

I guess I'm indifferent to the situation because Tyra accepts all sexualities. She would be the first to tell you that a drag queen taught her how to walk lol...so although this transgender may not look the best...she/he may be the best. Tyra also stresses that the pretty ones are the least desired in runway...they want those girls with faces that are weird and dimensionally uneven...if that's a word lol. Either way, ANTM's winner is also someone who can deliver...except cycle 5 when Nicole won instead Nic.

I guess you're right. They're looking for someone who has the X-factor. Yeah, I thought Nic should have won instead of Nicole. Nicole looks quite ordinary to me. Well, that's just my opinion. I cant wait to see the newest season. Here in the philippines, we're one season late.

That would be more difficult for her because she needs to compete with natural females which is more natural when it comes to modelling. Physically, she may also be in a big disadvantage because there could be some evidence of being male which judges may find unappealing.

isis looked like a girl. it's not awkward to look at her so i think she's fine.. though im not too sure about everything else
