the best team in the world is up against a team playing the best cricket it has in a long time. Australia, still very much the favourites, and by far the most consistent team about - their sweep of the ICC awards was indicative of that - have a resurgent West Indian team and a Brabourne Stadium pitch to worry about before the match that could hand them the one big trophy that has so far eluded them. who will win the cricket champions trophy finals betweenWI n AUS

Australia, naturally !
In todays highly professional world, ruled by firmly focussed individuals, miracles do not happen any more. The last miracle in cricket was, perhaps, SA's world record chase - or rather - India's amazing win over England propelled by Yuvraj-Kaif's partnership years ago.
With due respect to everyone, I am withdrawing SA from the miracle list because they are a team - much like the Aussies - who went in trying to win and believing that they could do it.
The indian victory, on the other hand, qualifies as a miracle since the Indian cricketer's psyche is not designed to recover from shocks.
What do you say ?

hmm most indians well dont recover well from shocks i guess:) prolly somethin to do with culture etc:)(eg my indian frnd just talked once to is dad abt bein an art major....and his dad refused:)....that was the end of it )

i think west indies are gonna make it
but not sure, as Aussie is such a team...
west indies is really on fire
with chris gayle, chanderpaul, sarwan and lara in top form.
u cant expect a team to loose...
