Hi there.
Foremost, I don't have any Chinese blood. But for so many years now, and as far as I can recall, I've watched many Chinese movies ever since I was a child. Even when I was about 9 or 10 years of age, I had the chance to watch these type of movies through our local networks. Unfortunately, I never remembered any of their titles. Some of the Chinese movies I can never forget are those which displayed the Chinese' prowess in martial arts, including Drunken Master and Shaolin Soccer. And yes, I loved the movie Secret starring Jay Chou and the beautiful lady (sorry, I forgot her name). I even shared it with some of my acquaintances. I also am delighted to watch Jet Li in The One, and some of his other movies which I can't remember anymore. Maybe a sign of stress!
That's all for now. And before I forget, I'd like to welcome you here in mylot community, as I assume that you're quite a newbie here. Hope you'll enjoy it here. Regards.

Eat Drink Man Woman, The Road Home and the Wedding Banquet are the non-action Chinese movies that I've seen. I especially like Eat Drink Man Woman although it makes me hungry just watching all the cooking and eating scenes. There is NO way to not like Hero, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and House of Flying Daggers. And for laughs, I'd go with Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle.
