My ultimate fav would have to be croquilles st jaques--I love scallops. My mom has the best recipe for this, but I still haven't been able to get it out of her. lol King crab legs are a close second. They are just sooo expensive, we never order them at a restaurant. I patiently wait for them to go on sale, $8 a pound or less, usually sold in 10 pound boxes. Thats when I buy them and just keep them in freezer, pulling out a few pounds at a time for special occasions and such. We don't have a pot big enough to boil/steam them so we wrap the frozen legs in tin foil and throw them on the bbq. This actually works great! Yummy What is your fav seafood dish??? Do you have a special way to prepare it???

Luckily, my grandmother lives in a fishing village so I had the opportunity to really indulge on seafood feasts. I especially love oysters. I've tried baked oysters with different toppings, simple steamed, grilled, blanched oysters. I also love grilled mixed seafood. shrimps, crabs, oysters, and different clams.

My favorite sea food dish is mustard and coconut pompret fish. Basically the fish is lightly shallow fried. Then a mustard and coconut paste is made with green chillies and the fried fish is then cooked in that paste gravy using mustard oil. It tastes divine. I also love lobsters cooked in a coconut and poppy seed gravy.
