Do you have a special prayer you usually say??

Generally, my prayers consist of supplication. I ask God to keep me and my family (especially our three year-old daughter) healthy always. I also pray for a longer life for my parents. My mom has retired from government service since the early part of this year while my father has three more years to continue his teaching profession. And for my youngest sibling, I pray for God's guidance for her to be able to finish her studies because she's the only one among us who's still hasn't graduated from college. My other younger siblings (including me) are currently working with local firms for quite some time now. One particular petition which I always utter and wish for is for us to be able to be debt-free in financial terms. Until now, we still have a substantial amount of monetary obligations with credit card companies, pawnshops, loan institutions, government agencies, and various individuals. I was able to fully pay our debt with one of our three credit cards early this year. Hopefully, the second one will also be paid in full by the end of the present year.

hi mrsgoodygoody! i don't really have a special prayer but i do have a unique prayer. one of my high school teachers told us that wherever we are, we can talk to God. we don't need to go to the church to pray, ask for forgiveness and make requests. we can do it anywhere, even if we are in the bathroom. so, everyday, my prayers are unique. i don't have to recite and pray with other people the Our Father or the Hail Mary. i usually ask for forgiveness first for the sin that i have recently committed. and then i would pray for my family and friends, about whatever they are currently facing. and then i would give my requests.

we pray at every meal...in german and the prayer is 'alle gutten gaben, alles was wer haben, kommt, O Gott, von dir, dank sei dir dafur." which pretty much means, everything we have comes from GOD and we are very thankful.
