Smith & Wesson is a girls best friend, and I should know I have a snub nose 32 that I carry around in my purse. Good job Grandma, I like reading stories where people have decided to take a stand against crime. To make it even worse is she made the larcenist call 911, that is great.

LOL Good for granny:):): I'm afraid not all bulglary cases might be this easy to take care of but at least granny did take care of this one:):) I agree that smith and weston has it's benefits, but it can also get people to be overconfident which can be dangerous... then again , everything has its drawbacks LOL

Thumbs up to the pistol packing grandma for protecting herself. I wish that could have been the case for the elderly lady that was attacked i the elevator in NY and it was caught on tape. While mylotting today I watched it and was shocked to see what I saw. This guy chocking the elderly lady and taking her purse. But at least this grandma had another thing for the one that tried to bother her.

Yes, the politicians who do not allow elderly ladies like the one you mentioned to be armed, are partly responsible with their ignorance for what happened.

Wonderful. It's always horrible when theives pick on anyone, but especially the elderly. I'm so glad she was able to turn the tables on him and, hopefully, teach him a lesson.
