Raining outside

no. being born during the typhoon months, i love the rain. in fact, it lifts up my spirit. although lifting up my spirits doesn't necessarily follow that i don't sleep a lot during rainy days (or any other day, in fact. hehehe). i feel most alive when it rains. the heat gets into my nerves :D

Hi there rikkabren! It has been raining for three straight days (including today) here in our city. Well, right this very moment, it is not raining but I am sure that it will pour again in a few minutes. A typhoon just passed us by and is on its way to Taiwan. It's okay when it rains for as long as there are no power interruptions of any sort. I can stay at home while it is raining outside for as long as I can do other things so that I won't get bored.

I live in Australia, I can't help but feel a little relief when it rains. Our water supply in Melbourne, as well as most of the country is in dire straights, so no, it doesn't make me sad, it's comforting. I also love how the streets are washed clean,or when the sun comes out and there is a lushness to the grass. I havn't washed my car in two years. (Water restrictions) When I see the weather report & they say it's going to rain, I take the car out of the garage, & leave it in the driveway for a wash! lol P,L,&MBs

I don't know if rain makes me gloomy. I pretty much feel that way when the sun is shining. But rain does make me sleepy. It's a strange effect that the rain can create. I think snow has a similar effect on some people. For me the snow makes me relaxed and peaceful.

Hello rikkabren, Don't worry too much about the rain and gloom, its only the weather thats telling you to cuddle up with a good book and lose yourself in the story and when you finish you can start Mylotting with a new discussions and more responding and friends will make you laugh and some will ask for help by the time you log of you'll forgot the rain. yes.I feel that too.I think bad weather makes myself sad. but my friend sometimes told me that there's sunshine after the rain.We should be optimistic.I wish you will be happy.

Rain is sort of depressing! I know that we need some good steady rain though as the ground is very dry. I also know that we had a lot of rain in June and yet now it is so dry. I would probably sleep better if it would rain as I think that rain does make us sleepier than we would be any other time.

Nope I dont. I actually love raining. The coldness of the air, the moment you get wet because of the air. I just love it. I dont play in the rain though, I do that before but not anymore. It doesnt make me feel sleepy at all. It makes me really happy.
