Spiderwick Chronicles ~such a cute little movie!

I have always been one that enjoys watching movies and of course, finding the best deal when purchasing them. A week ago, I was browsing amazon's DVD movies when I came upon the Spiderwick Chronicles and I thought to myself, "Yup, I have got to see it." Not only was I surprised at how fast I got it, I was even more surprised that I got a used movie for $7.00 in such perfect condition! This movie is perfect for all ages and has already earned a special place in my DVD collection. For an avid fantasy movie watcher, such as I, the graphics are awesome. There is a hint of comedy in it and the story line was well put together in my opinion. Has anyone had the opportunity to watch this? What was your take of the movie?

I havent seen it but I have heard alot about this movie so I think I will put it on my must see list. I like fantasy movies to a certain extent i really enoyed the Lord ot the Rings triolgoy for instance. I forget where i heard about Spiderwick but I know there has been some positive buzz about it.

Initially I heard about this movie though my sister, she is a huge fantasy geek like me...lol... Then after that, i started noticing previews of the movie. So, when I seen it was listed on amazon, I had to have it. Thank you so much for responding! =)

Yes my hubby and daughter seemed to really enjoy it. I only caught a little bit of it. It was a visually beautiful film. I have purchased previously viewed movies for terrific prices. Like new in most cases. I too am a huge movie fan. I am sure this movie will eventually be added to our collection.

My husband has always been the action type movies, but when he came in and sat down a few minutes through the movie, he was drawn in and even requested we watch it together. =) I might be on to some thing here...lol... =) Thank you so much for your response.
