I was thinking about a discussion concerning soapy mouths and thought of the things my Mother or Father would do..one of the things would be that look and I always swore they could read my mind..but knew it couldn't be..but what if?
Who's the last person you'd want to be able to read your mind? A friend, your Boss, your partner, lover??

Great discussion! I think it would have to be my dad. I love him, and I KNOW he loves me, but he misunderstands me a lot of the time. But if he could read my mind, I still don't think it would help us communicate any better. He would probably just try to change my way of thinking, and drive home his 'points' even more. I don't need that! I think I would rather us work it out on our own than him use my weird mind against me!

Good question, Kitty. My mom used to be able to read not only my mind, but my voice. Wait a minute, she can still do that. I swear, I don't call her if I'm the slightest bit upset about anything, unless I want to talk to her about it, because she can read me like a friggin book! With her, my acting is useless. She sees right through me.
In some ways, I wish my hubs could read my mind because then he'd know all the things that he's not doing that I need him to do, but he'd also know the things he has no business knowing, so no, I don't want him to be able to read my mind.
I'm with myklj on the law enforcement thing, for sure. Yikes.
So, kitty darling, what am I thinking right now? ...bet you can guess.........

I don't think I really care if someone reads my mind or not, it is just one of those things to me, sometimes I wish people would, then they would understand me or so I would hope.

Now that's a really scary thought... lol
I wonder how many of us would be allowed to remain free and walk the streets if people could read our mind. Probably no-one... lol

Since I'm not close to anyone but my sons who live at the other end of the country and I live alone with no regular job, I guess I don't mind who reads my thoughts!

Hi Rosekitty, I wish I could read minds at times even though my kinds seem to think I can a lot of the time just like you thought your mother and father did with their looks LOL. I wouldn't want any one to be able to read my mind, its my private space and no-one can or should be allowed in but the wors person I suppose would be another myLotter as my thoughts would then be out there for the whole world to read about LOL. Ellie :D

I'd rather you avoid my mind and look at my heart. I'm human and get agitated. Probably a good thing my father in law can't read my mind. Then again, maybe he would leave me alone if he could????
Wait, I know, I don't want the customers to read my mind. We had a nut bird in this morning that didn't want to be quiet. Ugh.
Hugs,
Carolyn
