What I know is earning is quitely relative to participation on daily basis. More you send good responses and the more you receive good responses; the more you earn. But countings, when compared for your particular country, give your position with respect to counting figure. Thanks for this nice discussion.

If your discussions needs to come to the Top 10, in the "mylot digest", your discussions should be, -- Differ from the usual catagory of the other discussions -- It should be very attractive / It should attract the other members -- It should be the casual discussions like mobile phone usages etc. -- It should be very cathe, and it should be very easy for the other members to respond your discussions. -- It should be the Good discussions... -- Even through if the discussion is being good, if it give more attention to the members, it will defenately get the more responses for that particular day.. If any of your discussion will get the more responses, on those days, it will defenately took place in that day's mylot digest.. And the people used to tell that you will get an extra earning if your discussions will took part in the mylot digest, the top ten discussions of the day, But i am not sure about this.. Many times My discussion will took place in this mylot digest. I am also like you very much surprised, when I saw my discussion took place in the mylot digest, this is really very good moment.. Hi there intimate36! I rarely start my own discussions too. When I do, I get lots of replies which I really am proud of. I think I have been in the top several times too. This inspires me to do better here on myLot. Based on my experience, when you generate many responses for the discussions you start, you would definitely earn extra. But of course, I do not know if that is absolute.

I'm not sure. I've noticed that if something is popular one day, it might no be necessarily true the next. I'm also one for responding more than starting discussions. You can't really predict what will become a hot topic, things just are, lol. I am surprised a lot too from the changes that are constantly made when it comes to discussions.

I don't start discussions too often, and most of the time i will be with responding. Earlier i was thinking that we don't get money for starting discussion, but realized that we get some extra money if our discussions are popular. When i started a discussion about my first payment, i got 98 responses and was also placed in top discussions and came in mylot digest also. I earned a few cents (i think its because of that discussion). As we all are not clear about the earning part in mylot, lets make discussions interesting and hope for the best. happy mylotting.
