What if there were magnetic strips in the road? AUTO PILOT!!!!

I want a little reciever in my car that once I pull onto the highway, I can set the car on autopilot and it will pull the electromagnetic energy from the road it is traveling on to keep it on the road, and at a safe speed and distance away from the car in front and behind... Like a force-field. Is that too much to ask??? lol Now i'm having fun people.. join me in letting your mind wander... Please post anything you can think of on the subject.

Yes, I think that would be good... it would have prevented that taxi driver running into the back of me and knocking me into the line of parked cars. It wouldn't matter to me that he wasnt insured then because my car wouldn't have needed any repairs and I wouldn't have lost pay through being unable to work. - Sorry, I am digressing here. Maybe a force field should also be activated when the lights turn red or the pedestrian crossing is in use... or when the level crossing gates are about to drop. Wow, you could cut accidents and insurance premiums at a stroke here. Patent your idea now before someone steals it
