is opm music still alive?obviously filipino talents are making waves to the global music industry

I'd say definitely, it still is. There are still good opm compositions. But I think the quality is declining though. That's just my opinion. Happy mylotting.

opm music is not so visible nowadays.singers are mostly singing songs from foreign artists and doing revivals.its too bad that most of the original compositions from some artists dont get too much air time.i do hope that someday we could hear opm again as much as we did years ago.

i think so. im not a big fan of opm since most filipino artist just sing hit songs from international artist.

Yes, it is still alive... Original Pilipino Music is still great for me... I love our music! It is just today many of our fellow Filipinos do patronize International music rather than our own... We have a lot of great talent and voices... Love our own music!

Well, I am From the US and some of my favourite bands are Urbandub, Rivermaya, Up Dharma Down, and Bamboo. I just wish it was easier for me to get my hands on. :)
