what is the two word name for the moment around september 21 opf each year when day and night are approximately equal in lenght??

Well, that is a good one because it's not something that comes up in everyday conversation. I'm pretty sure that the second word is equinox, but I'm totally lost on the first word.
It's quite frustrating because as soon as someone says it I'll remember and feel really silly for forgetting. Oh well, I've racked my brains and I don't remember.
