Configaration of computer to surf internet !!

By changing the configuration i take it that you are going to change the hardware. So here goes: Pentium 2 is really ageing now, but you cant change the processor because its the heart and is the most expensive. And when you change the processor, you'll need a motherboard that can support the new processor. An Intel Core 2 Duo will not work on a 2000 motherboard. The same goes with the RAM. It is the easiest and cheapest way to upgrade speed but you'll need to find what type of RAM it is using. if you are not sure just take it to your computer hardware shop and they'll tell you. But chances are the RAM will be rather expensive. No offence ,but at 8 years old, it really is time for a new computer. If you are going to change the motherboard and processor, then it'll be best to buy a new one altogether. If you really just want to change the current configuration, I'll suggest a RAM upgrade to mayb 512MB or 1GB.
