Do you reply to similar discussions which you had replied before?

Some discussions here in MyLot seem to duplicate. Even i make those mistakes, but unknowingly. Will you reply to discussions which might seem similar to say a discussion to which you replied a week or so back. I just might not do it.
Happy mylotting..

Well it's impossible after a time, to not reply to the same type of discussion as you have already replied to. This one for instance is very similar to a few other's I have replied to over the years. I don't mind unless it's done in the same day and it's close to one that was posted earlier. Those make me feel the member just copied off someone else and I kind of stay clear of those. I know they could just as easy do it the next day, but it's not so apparent as when it's just a couple of hours later.

Hmm, you are right. But it has so happened to me, while posting some current affairs that my discussion looked very similar to one started just before. But truth is that i never copied and sometimes i do hate the search. It sometimes does not show you proper results (or is it search wrong )

Part of the problem with the search is how we tag. That is how a discussion is searched, I believe.

You are right! Sometimes even I find discussions similar. I think there could be infinite number of discussions on a single topic, but still there would be some small difference.
I do reply to discussions which look similar. For two reasons:
1) It takes less time to respond to similar discussions. You don't have to think too much about that topic, because you already have done it once!
2) It takes less time to reply such discussions resulting posting more responses in lesser time. Which results into more number of responses next to your name and more earnings too.
But, I must admit, that some discussions / topics are too repetitive. I don't reply such discussions.

If I liked what I said to the first one, yes, I will do it again. I may help someone else out. They may not know what has been posted before.

Yes, why not. I might have some other words to describe, and maybe I dont know I havent commented on and later I will realized I did. Theres no harm. Would you believe in one discussion there are lots of comments we do with each one. As if we are really discussing in real. Happy mylotting too.

Yes I do and there's nothing wrong with it for I consider it "to each his own thing" There's new people coming on here every day so they're trying to make new friends as well as make some money and are learning how mylot works. At first they don't know to use the search bar above for a certain subject and until they do, I don't mind answering the discussion for I get paid for it too as well as make a new friend.

Yup, there seem to be a lot of similar discussions lately, especially on books, chocolate and perfumes.
I'd usually check to make sure that I've not posted yet - it'd be very embarassing to respond twice to the same discussion . However, I still enjoy responding, though it's a similar topic, but the poster is a different person.
