How many of us are scared when lightning and thunder strike?

Yesterday it rained heavily in my place.I was alone at home.Lightning and thunder I can see and hear from my house through the window.Since I was young I had this fear of lightning and thunder strike.I am scared even now.This fear has not gone away.

No i dont fear of watching and hearing the lightning and thunder strike. but, i watch and enjoy those things only sitting inside my home and watching through window. i have the guts to fight anyone for submission wrestling. but i dont have the guts to come out in sever rain.. walking where many trees are crowded.. because, thunder strike usually comes where tree is located.i had seen some lightning attack on youtube.. so scary..

Yup,my friend we should never try to go outside when it is storming with lightning and thunder shower.It is not good.I n my place,it is so much of lightning and thunder that we need to even remove all the power cords from the plug points to prevent it from getting damage.We dare don't even pick the phone or cellphone when it is raining with heavy lighning and thunder.It is so scary.Atleast 3-4 people die due to this lightning strike in my place every year.

Yes, at times thunder and lightening can be scary! I also lived in a hilly area when I was a child. I remember a stormy day when there had been lots of lightening and thunders, and they were so loud that we got frightened. Later, I a saw a few trees struck by thunder bolts.

I am not get used to lighting and thunder, as child used to be scared but believe me that fear is still around.When it start I change especial when I am alone and I used to go to bed and I heard that it is not good to go to bed becuase of that heat I do not mind if I don't see the lighting hey LoL that one scares me a lot. I remember one day I lock my self out. I was in the balcon last year the lighting and thunder started I jump from the second flow and I never think what if I get injured I just jump I go to the nearest shop and I was not neat becuae when locked my self I was cleaning but I did not care,I sit there for any hour.

Oh my friend you should never do like that.You could have got hurt.You should be careful even though you are scared.I am scared too but I don't run around to some other place because lightning and thunder in my place is really very horrible.People die due to strike and houses gets burnt.Be careful!

When I was too young, I used to get upset, if left alone....but now years have passed....so no fears any more..
And, I live in a metropolitan city for last 15 years...and heavy rains are not so common here.... so, normally when rains heavily, my children enjoy it...

Here in metro it is not so much of sound of thunder,but yes,lightning can be seen,flashing every second,every minute when it is about to rain heavily.But,back at my home town,one can hardly sleep because of roaring thunder.It is more of like thunder shower.In hilly and mountain regions,the sound is also really horrific.During rainy season,due to this many people lose their lives or get paralysed due to strike.I like to play in the rain, go out and drench myself in the rain,but not when I can see lightning flashing around.

I might get startled at the first sournd of thunder if i dont realize its storming but im not afraid of it as it continues..lightening im a bit afraid of..it seems lately quite a few ppl in the city of chicago have been getting struck by lightening so the more that happens the more i fear it.

I remember my Son with you when he is still very young during the time of rainy Days and with Thunder striking and Lightning he would surely run unto his room and put on the music for he doesn't want to see and hear about it for he will always felt scared on it.....but here in Kuwait we do not have rain it is very rare and so on with the Thunder and Lightning.
