mc donalds in cebu

I was eating along in mc donalds and i was surprise to see the crew buying their food outside!They are buying their lunch to the vendor.I was surprise to think that the company is in a food business and yet they are not at least give some to their employees.Can somebody explain it to me.I meant this are big company they should at least take care of their employees.

They actually bring the food inside.What i am surprise is they are selling food and yet the employees bought food from the vendors outside.I don't know if they have some arrangement about the food for the employees maybe what i am asking is a piece of consideration for the employees.Like the food let say free 1 meal for every employee i think it will not hurt the company since their employees are working so hard for them.

I think local fastfoods do give free meals to their employees. In fact, some have a policy of eat all you can as long as you never take them out of the store. But think about it: if you work there, see the same food over and over then eat them still, wouldn't you just get tired of it? Even customers can only eat so much burgers or fries, even if it is inexpensive. You need variety and not monotony.
