Yes friends and my fellow mylotters. You've read it right. I've slept the whole day. This is the first time that I've ever done that. I have insomnia since I was a teenager. My average on my sleeping hours is mostly 4 hours of sleep a day. But today, I don't really know what, but I've slept and slept and slept. LOL. I guess, it's because of the rains and cold weather here in my place that's why I felt sleepy. LOL. And I'm glad that I did that. I feel relaxed now. How about you? Have you done something like this before?
Happy postings!!! HUGZ!

I'm really glad you're back my dear friend. I know what you've been through last week. I've read and responded to your post. I hope you're feeling fine now. And I hope that we can chat again. I guess, you're always sleepy because you're coping up with the sadness and sleepless nights that you've experienced. Happy postings too. HUGZ!

Hello friend,a long hours of sleep greatly releases the stress and tension from mind and gives a relaxing and peaceful mood. However,I do regulary sleep in night for nearly 6 hours or more and very rarely sleep in the day time.I believe, sleeping in day time is not good for a healthy life.I do follow a regulated sleeping habit and have never experienced any such abnormal sleep disorder, regardless of any change in climate. I am in the habit of going to bed early and refreshingly getting waked up early in the morning,in a natural way. I feel, you should take care to maintain a regulated sleeping habit and get rid of sleeplessness and abnormal sleeping.A habit regular meditation can prove highly effective in giving a great deal of relaxation and good mental health, reducing insomania to a large extent. Have a nice day!!

So that answer my question lately, how come my best online friend was so silent the whole day. So you are so relaxed and feels like a baby now, LOL. Good for you that for a day, you have time to relax, and imagine, a day of silence, one day of sleeping? How I wish I can do that someday. Anyway, welcome back to cyber world. (neildc @ red/89/1665)

that's great you had a great sleep for one day. I do not sleep much at night sometimes that leave me tired and irritated all day. I suggest you try to go to bed little earlier, so you can have better sleep hour. I tends do that because of college starts on August 25.

Cheers gal! I know how grumpy one is when they do not get much sleep. My problem is too much sleep. I sometimes have to pinch myself to wake up and go to work despite the fact that I sleep very early. What is the opposite of insomnia?

I have had insomnia all my life! I have had it since I was
a little girl. So I sure know what you're talking about. It
really is miserable. I can be up all night. In fact I was
up until 5:00am here in mylotland and then I stayed in bed
until about 11:00am. I only slept maybe 3 hours altogether if
I was lucky. I sleep a little and wake up. It's horrible. I
have tried all different things, but nothing works. So now
I just don't bother fighting to sleep, I just stay here and
visit on mylot since there's always people awake somewhere.
That's the fun part of having friends in all different parts
of the world! But, it doesn't help my insomnia. Anyway, good
for you, obviously you needed to sleep. Don't fight it. It's
exactly what your body needed.

Hi dhangski,
I am always a sleepy girl..lol! I love to be off from work before and stay with my parents in the province, far from noise and traffic and there, I can sleep non-stop! LOL!
So, I will not blame you especially having that wonderful weather!
I am quite unfair in myself this time, I know I love to nap but I am always working hard here! Wish me luck! LOL!

Hi dhangski, i have no issue with sleep , i can sleep any time. but i havenoticed one thing if i sleep in day time i dont feel good as if i am sick and will not able to do anything other than sleeping. So i always avoid sleeping in day time. Only if i am really ill then day and night are same for me.
I have a wonderfull memory, when i was in school, after a hectic day i went to sleep. i woke up and i asked my mom that, is it evening or morning, My mom said, wake up the school bus will be here at any moment. So i jumped out of bed and started getting ready.. after some time i went and asked my mom that why its getting dark.. she laughed and said "because its evening".. i was standing like stupid fool, i front of all, and every one was laughing..

I also feel sick when I sleep at daytime. I'm a creative writer in an outsourcing company and I used to work at night. I work at night and sleep during the day. I sleep whole day that I don't have time to eat. It's normal for people working at night to sleep during daytime and feel not that well as you are saying. It's because their body clock is adjusting to it. Even though I sleep the whole day, I still feel weak and sleepy. Everything feels okay when my body has adjusted to night work. I've been transferred to morning shift now and I sleep 4 hours a day because I have insomnia.

I also feel the same. When I sleep too much, it's difficult for me to get up and do other things. There's also come a time that I'm still sleepy even though I've slept for long hours. The longer hours I sleep, the more I get sleepy in the day so I just get 4 hours and sleep and feel okay during the day.

You slept the whole day! Lucky you are! I wish I could do that too! I've never done that. I regularly sleep 7 to 8 hours at night and during break time I could only nap for as long as 10 to 20 minutes and that's it. I also do take short sleeps while travelling to my office and in going back home. But sleeping at home during rainy days is one thing I want to do. It's really relaxing! Unfortunately I can't sleep that long during the day. But I'm glad you did. You need it very badly!

I've experienced not sleeping for 5 days because of my exams when I was in high school. What was you doing during those 2 days that you were awake?
