I know I'm going to get jumped on here, but please read the whole post before you decide I'm some sort of horrible person. Do you ever notice that some sports seem to be dominated by people of certain races? Not that other people can't participate, but overall one race seems to dominate the elite of the sport. Caucasians do most of the swimming and gymnastics, Latinos I've noticed are famous for volleyball and soccer, black athletes do track, and Asians are good at table tennis and badminton. Why do you think this is? Does it have to do with genetic make-up and things are bodies are more inclined to be good at? Or is it more to do with culture and what is more revered in our country? I'm awaiting your responses.

Whenever a Kenyan or another African wins a long distance running race I always say it is because in their homeland when they have to run to the store, they have to Run to the store.I don't think it is race that is the main factor, it is the culture.Table Tennis is such a beloved sport in Asia and rarely played here in the States. Here the kids play basketball but it isn't Just the Black kids who can play here and now all over the world. It is culture not color.

I agree with you. Culture is the key point.

It is really the environment that influences them to be good at that certain sports. Certain race is good at a certain sports because that sports is really famous in their country and they are influenced to be more competitive in that sports.
