the reason i have posted only one discussion today and at this late an hour (it is 9pm in our country already) is that i woke up with the worst headache (plus my throat hurts like hell and i have a freaking dysmenorrhea. talk about a bad day. augh.) and i cannot muster enough strength to work (let alone get out of bed). we have a three-month old child, who requires a lot of attention and TLC and likes to be held as often as possible since yesterday (she wants extra warmth, since it is four degrees below normal due to the typhoon karen), there are chores to be done around the house and a thousand other odd things that need to be accomplished, but there i was, a worthless piece of carcass unable to do a thing. at times like this, i feel really useless and depressed, as i am unable to contribute anything to the house. i am the person who does not want to feel unwanted and worthless. it gives me an unpleasant feeling, plus the fact that i can see my husband struggling to work around the house while taking care of our daughter svetlana (that is one HARD feat, considering svet can become very demanding for attention at times). so when i got the chance, i whispered to my husband that i am so sorry for being such a useless wife today. you know what he told me? "you deserve a break. you've been working so hard. i do this not because i have to, but because i love you and our daughter". tears started to form (i cry easily), and at that moment, i feel i love paul even more. there was so much in life that we went through, and he stayed strong for us. and even though i nag him most of the time, he doesn't fail to make me feel loved every single day. can you share to me what was the sweetest thing you remember that your partner did for you? i'm in the mood for love stories to die for right now :)
