So here i am typing away at a new discussion. The discussion is really shaping up to be what I thought it would. Then I hit "Start discussion"...that is when I realize "Oh no! I spelled several words wrong.
It would not have been so bad except it was a discussion on education. lol.
How many time have you typed you heart out, hit start discussion only to realize how bad your grammer or spelling was? For people who don't have 500 post yet we don't have the ability to type in a word processor and then copy paste.
Oh and for your education I know that I spelled "Educated" incorrectly in the title. (Did you even notice?)

I did see it but just figured it was just one finger going faster than the other since you had all the letters there.:) When that happens I don't think of the person as uneducated. What does make me think that way is when they spell does as "duz" and completely murder the correct spelling of a word to the point where you can only guess at what is meant by whatever part of the sentence is readable.
I can't wait until I can copy and paste. I really get upset when I thought about what I wanted to write and my log in expired and I lose all that I have written already. You know it never comes out the same when you have to rewrite what you already had thought up. I don't know about the title but doesn't it have a red line under any of your misspelled words when you are typing them or is that just my settings for my browser that does that for me?

Wow that would be nice. My browser soe not do that. Yeah all the letters were there just jumbled up. Crazy that. (That is a phrase my wife uses.)
I used to have the same problem. I would get interuppted by the kids and then come back and I had lost all that I wrote.
Thanks for the reply.

Ok yep I just checked I use FireFox and you can set the spell check by going to Tools/Options/advanced and check the box that says spell check. It doesn't correct the spelling but gives you a red line under a misspelled word ... then you have to look it up or try another guess LOL.

Hahaha I didn't notice educated was spelled wrong until you mentioned it in your post.
Sometimes when I'm so excited to post thats when I often get wrong spellings and grammar. But most of the time I read my post several times before starting a discussion until I am sure that everything is correct. But there are times though many times I have checked my post I still get wrong spelling and gramme.
Ciao!

You are more diligent than I. Of course I wish that my only problem was that I was typing to fast. Sometimes I just don't know how to spell a word so I guess and let it fly.
Thanks for the response.

Maybe you invented a new word!
I make lots of mistakes because I think quicker than I type. Sometimes I check what I've written before I hit the button and sometimes I don't - and then I wish I had
Just keep going and then when you get to 500 do you really think it will make life easier?

I really don't know if that will make it easier or not. I don't think I will take the time to put it in a word document and then copy paste. I may just have to deal with my fast typing and slow thinking. :)
