Brussel Sprouts still on the stalk

Has anyone seen this item in the grocery store? Last weekend we ran into one of the nicer grocery stores around here and there were brussel sprouts still on the plant! I don't know about you, but I was clueless that they even grew on a stalk. We eat a good bit of brussel sprout and our birds LOVE them. For us fresh, on the stalk was a great find (especially for only $6!). The biggest challenge now is finishing all of them. I bet there are 100 sprouts on the stalk!

You're talking about one of my favorite veggies. My friend planted them a few years ago, I was surprised to see how they grow. Another work of art from God. They are great when you can get them fresh.Enjoy!

So, you have never been out to pick fresh brussels sprouts from your garden on Christmas morning then? (aaaahhhh fond memories!) They taste better when they've had a frost on them. Eating 100 sprouts would be no problem in our house

I have only ever seen them at one store before. People were not buying the whole stalk though. They were pulling them off of the stalk and buying a few at a time. I love the little ones best, but I like them all. I had some just last week. My kids hate them though. I did get the baby to eat a few.
