Let us discuss a situation. The parents brought up their son so nicely that they have settled well in the life and enjoying. With passage of time the time changing a lot and the parents become old and week to carry on in life at their own and requires help at this Stages. When they called for their sons to come to their rescue, rather than care for the old age parents they deserted the parents at the mercy of god and forced to look for the old age home run by charity. Is it not the duty of the sons to take care of the aged and ailing parents in your society. Should there be a law which may provide protection for the aged and ailing parents. What is your opinion in this context. Please express in full.

No, I dont think there should be a law which compels offspring to take care of their aging parents. I would not want to be cared for by someone who only did so because they were compelled by law to do so. If I should find myself in need of help, I would not want my sons to neglect their own needs or those of their families. I would feel dreadful that I was preventing them from living their own lives to the full and, assuming I was of sound mind, would not allow that to happen.
