Forgive and Forget? Read my story and comment and send suggestions

I've been in a relationship for more then 3yrs now.We have huge rows all the time and all of the time it finishes with him breaking up with me(for 5times).The last one was last April.My grandpa died on d 22nd April and on the 23rd he broke up with me(cause of silly things).It was the day before the burial. I was really devastated in loosing my gran so suddenly and also loosing my bf as well almost on the same day.On the day I found myself alone and had no one to lean on in the time that I really needed someone beside to comfort me.I'm still hurt about this breaking up in the worst week of my life. I really don't know if I should forgive and forget, but it hurts alot.We ended up back together in the end. Can you comment and suggest what would you have done in my situation?Did I do the right thing in getting back together with him?
