Why does the smell of coffee make me want a smoke?

So I'm in the process of quitting smoking. I say "process" because it really is a struggle and a step by step course. Today is Day 2.... of my 4th or 5th attempt in the past several years. Well, so far, so good. Yesterday morning I put the patch on. I took it off this morning before my shower and forgot to replace it. Today (it's about 3:00 in the afternoon) I've done pretty well. Of course, I've been eating like crazy to replace my horrible habit. But I just walked past the office break room and smelled coffee in the air. And it made me want a cigarette! Has anyone else ever experienced this? Are there other things that trigger your nicotine cravings? Have you recently quit or are you in the process -- what suggestions do you have to get through it? Feel free to post anything about quitting smoking! Thanks!
