Hey there, Libra! I am also a Libra, and we are the very best!
Here are some of the typical traits that I find true are true of me: FAIR, I give everyone a fair shot, and I consider everything from every angle. INDECISIVE, which ties into the first one I mentioned! GOOD HOSTESS, I am very concerned with making sure the people around me are comfortable. INCONSISTENT, I go through periods of frenetic energy, followed by relative lethargy. There are others, but these are the essential traits that I've seen that are true in me.
I also date a Libra, he's awesome, and the two of us trying to figure out what to do for dinner can be a nightmare!! But ultimately I'm happy with the arrangement, each of us is very concerned for each other's feelings. My best friend is also a Libra, and she's a great source to call whenever I have a question about how to handle a social situation.

I am a libra, so therfore think they are the best zodiac sign out there! I do fit alot of the things they say libras are.
Libra is the only inanimate sign of the zodiac, all the others representing either humans or animals. Many modern astrologers regard it as the most desirable of zodiacal types because it represents the zenith of the year, the high point of the seasons, when the harvest of all the hard work of the spring is reaped. There is a mellowness and sense of relaxation in the air as mankind enjoys the last of the summer sun and the fruits of his toil. Librans too are among the most civilized of the twelve zodiacal characters and are often good looking. They have elegance, charm and good taste, are naturally kind, very gentle, and lovers of beauty, harmony (both in music and social living) and the pleasures that these bring.
They have good critical faculty and are able to stand back and look impartially at matters which call for an impartial judgment to be made on them. But they do not tolerate argument from anyone who challenges their opinions, for once they have reached a conclusion, its truth seems to them self-evident; and among their faults is an impatience of criticism and a greed for approval. But their characters are on the whole balanced, diplomatic and even tempered.
Librans are sensitive to the needs of others and have the gift, sometimes to an almost psychic extent, of understanding the emotional needs of their companions and meeting them with their own innate optimism - they are the kind of people of whom it is said, "They always make you feel better for having been with them." They are very social human beings. They loathe cruelty, viciousness and vulgarity and detest conflict between people, so they do their best to cooperate and compromise with everyone around them, and their ideal for their own circle and for society as a whole is unity.
Their cast of mind is artistic rather than intellectual, though they are usually too moderate and well balanced to be avant garde in any artistic endeavor. They have good perception and observation and their critical ability, with which they are able to view their own efforts as well as those of others, gives their work integrity.

I just read yours over, and I realized you hit on my favorite Libra trait that I missed! I love to argue just for the sake of argument, which can drive some people totally crazy, but can be great with other Libras!!
Great response!

WOW!! I like your words, totally true. We do have kindness...just dont get us angry...muahahhaha! lovers of beauty, harmony and good taste, ohh yes i agree with everything you just said! We should make something like a "libra" group, that be cool...since we like to argue alot, im sure arguments between libras could be somewhat very interesting!

I think they're just as gullible as anyone else:
==========
Astrology (of ALL kinds) is nonsense: http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/misc/astrology.html
To think that the positions and movement of these incredible celestial bodies has any effect on an individual person on this tiny little planet is incredibly arrogant and egotistic.
From my source:
"My friend and master skeptic James Randi performs a wonderful demo of how easily people are fooled by astrology. He went into a classroom, posing as an astrologer, and cast horoscopes for all the students. He had them read and rate the accuracy, and they almost overwhelmingly rated the horoscopes as accurate. The kicker? He had them pass around the horoscopes, and the students saw that every horoscope was exactly the same. It was worded vaguely enough that nearly everyone in the room thought they were being well-described. The horoscopes were so vague they matched nearly everyone, and so their predictive power was meaningless. It was all in the students' heads."
Also:
"Many tests of astrologers have been made since the 1950s but only recently has a coherent review been possible. A large-scale test of persons born less than five minutes apart found no hint of the similarities predicted by astrology. Meta-analysis of more than forty controlled studies suggests that astrologers are unable to perform significantly better than chance even on the more basic tasks such as predicting extraversion [sociability]. More specifically, astrologers who claim to use psychic ability perform no better than those who do not."

I am a Taurus, so we have the same star - venus - controling our sign. I don't know that much libras 'cause they are different than me and my sign. you have the spiritual side of venus and I have the sensual side of the star. but from all of my not so deep aqauintance with libras they are good people, not hurting no body mostly, they have tact and they are helping people in time of need, and they know how to do it 'cause they are smart and kind. they have their thing with arguing, yes, and too much love for pleasures in life, and sometimes they are keeping their distance and looking snobish for some people. but you know, I can't remember a libra ever hurt me.. but maybe it because I didn't meet so many libras. any way I think they are positive people from what I know 'till now. happy mylottying.

i see. one of my best friends is a taurus, and we get along very well, its a healthy relationship, sometimes he's a little mellow, but that ok because he has his libra friend to cheer him up. I like making people feel good, i guess thats one of libras traits.
