the nature of my husband's work is quite mobile. well at first its hard to adjust. Just when you're done unpacking and made a few friends, you have to move to another state...but after several years, im used to it.
But after living in different apartments, this is the first time we experienced "client appreciation week". They have something instore for all the residents all week long...yesterday, they wait by the gate and handed over a to-go breakfast to all drivers going out of the complex. today, they built a huge outdoor screen for the movie night, there will be free popcorn, chips & refreshments. tomorrow, they'll have a free carwash...and so on...
its not really that much, but dont you just appreciate little things like that? =)

That's great they are doing this. Our apartment complex has had 2 or 3 since we moved in(we've only been here since March). They had the local cops come by and do a some sort of presentation about curfews, local schools, and noise ordinances(as well as I'm sure some other stuff, but I didn't make it to this one).
They've also had a night where a personal trainer came in and worked with people who wanted help(and had previously signed up). That was pretty cool, and the party afterwards was to celebrate the 3 new pieces of equipment they purchased.
It's great to live in a place that appreciates it's residents(which is far more than I can say about my previous landlord).
Enjoy your car wash tomorrow, I know my car could use it.

oh yeah, my car badly needs it,lol.
good thing they still have this kind of activity, maybe its also part of their marketing strategies. and also a great way to meet the neighbors whom we didnt see all winter long.
have a great night!

That is really so nice and unexpected in todays times.. I hope you are enjoying it and hope they do it often for you guys.. I can't think of anything that I have ever received that unexpectedly, but wouldn't mind receiving small tokens of someone's appreciation.. I hope everything goes well with you and yours and hope you receive many, many more appreciation weeks.. Have a great evening, Donna
