Childhood pets

My first pet was a kitten, my mom let me name it.. and me being 5, i named it. . pusser, sort of after puss n boots i guess . . that was the best cat. . i had a doll pillow, and the cat would sleep beside me at night with either her head on the pillow or her head in my hand. . she got a little crazy in the end though. There was a pond at the end of my street, and she made a pathway of wet leaves from teh pond to the house, and if the door was opened to the porch, she would start to bring them right up into the house. . i dontknow what prompted that or never seen anther cat do something so strange. my second pet was that cats kitten, her name was dotty cause she was white with black spots. as i got older i used to call her moocowkitty. Some kind of animal bit her and shee got sick and we had to put her down. my third pet was a dog named sacha, she had to be put dwn a few years ago beause she had really bad hips from age. . poor thing. . i dnt like dogs, but i loved her. i was away from home when she was put down. next two pets are still alive and living at my moms house. a cat amed zoey and a cat named morgan. my moms bf wants another dog. . that is where we are going to live when we move, maybe they will get one while we are there if i help to take care of it. lol puppies are cute, but dogs annoy me!

I had my own dog when I was little and lived on the farm...he was my best buddy. His name was Champ. When I was outside he was with me...we would go everywhere together even out onto the hay pile where I would climb up and he would go with me and we would take a nap in the summer sun! I didn't name another pet after him....but in my new book that I am just about finished with...well he is in there...just as alive in my mind as he was when I was 10 years old!

I lost my first Cat to Pneumonia many years ago. She was a orange tabby. I still remember her, she was my best friend growing up. I haven't had another orange tabby but if I did I don't think I would reuse the name.

I miss my pet cat sam alot. He was a great kitty.
