Not all name has its own meaning, my mom wants me to be named cecile because she like that name but suddenly my name turned out to cecel-why? tsk... ok, i'll ask the registrar in our municipality maybe he knows why he spell my name in that way... but i still thank him for that, i have no problem in getting any documents and clearances coz the name cecel is the only cecel in the world, Hahah!

My name is Shawna Jill (first and middle) I got my first name as a compromise between my parents. My father wanted to name me fanny jane and my mom wasnt having any of it, but shawna is irish for jane. I got my middle name because i was born on my moms best friends birthday and her middle name is Jill.

I'm not telling my name here but i'm telling the meaning of my name for thats what really matters most to me. My name means Defender/helper of people and it was my uncle that gave me that name! My name's Charmaine. There was a famous local actress in my country when I was being conceived so that's where they named me after. The actress' name was Sharmaine though. I don't know why they changed it to C. But before that, my mom was actually thinking of naming me after a flower, just like her. My mom's name is Jasmine and I was supposed to be named Hyacinth . I guess it was a good name too - it's just that I prefer my present name. :) So there.
