Having a problem uploading pictures into a discussion??? What's up mylot, am I doing something wrong, or is this happening to anyone else? Is there only certain formats mylot supports?? I couldn't find any info in the photos or mylot guidelines... help please...if you can...

I'm not sure about the formats they allow, since all I have uploaded have been jpg. But, I did notice that sometimes, even though they don't appear to be, the photos I tried unsuccessfully to upload were somehow too large. Maybe you could try reducing their size and see if they upload

Irish...I used an outside program called Irfanview to reduce the size. I don't think mylot has that capability.

That's pretty much what I thought. The pic is a bmp...not sure how or if I can change it to a jpg. It is saved on my puter through the paint program, I still haven't figured out how to save pics in any other way. If it's too big, can't I just re-format it in the paint program???

Edgy - bmp's are a problem for the mylot upload program. And yes, you can reconfigure them to jpg with the paint program on your computer. Just can't remember how, right now! Big surprise! LOL Do you have a "My Pictures" file in your Documents? You can use it to resize your pics too. Good luck.
