Saddam has been hanged and it should be inspected with what were the reasons, atrocities caused by him or the western thought. The consequences must be thought about the reaction in muslim countries the shia sunni relation etc. always two thoughts prevail to every decision so this also cannot escape from the same. And every comment no matter howsoever impartial it may be either by pretension or by knowledge there is certain tinge of inclination or favouritism attached to it. Hence everybody should be cautious in reactions.

his life is just equal to the life of one among thousands who have lost their lives bcoz of him. i think the punishment he received was an easy one...

Sadam deserve the punishment. You know what he has done and you know that he was a cruel dictator for many years in Iraq. He was a bad leader and have no conscience. His life is not even enough. He killed thousands and people. I hope wherever he is now, he'll realize how bad he has done and that he asks forgiveness to the Lord above. May he rest in peace.

To me it is 100% justifiable. He did n't deserve any kind of mercy. Thanks to Bush

honestly i really dont know what kind of punishment is that but what ever it is, i think the judgement is according to how big and how bad the crime he did.
he wont be suffer from any of punishment if he just not do any crime.
im trying to post my comments here as what you've suggested to me. do you think my comment is enough and relevant? thanks...

I was raised strongly believing in the commandment of Thou shalt not kill, so I sit on the fence about the hanging. I do believe that he needs to be punished to the highest standards without breaking any religious beliefs.

I think even the most notorius of criminals might deserve a forgive but Saddam doesn't. He is not loved by even his dearest ones. It's a waste for him to live..anyway he's already 70.The judgement is aptly justified.
