Who is your favorite character in dragon ball and why??

Hi everyone, I know that some of you are probebly fans of bragon ball just like me. So, tell us who is your favorite character and why? Let us compare our best characters to see who is really the hero. for me, the best character is vegita and the reason is easy and abvious. He would sacrifice his own life to save earth and it's not even his home planet. Do you know another character that would do that. I hope that you all dragon ball's fans enjoy this descussion.

I have not seen the full DBZ. I have seen only while gohan is fighting with Sel. Cartoon network started the season again.
My favorite character is also vigita. But as long as i have seen he has no intension of saving earth. His only goal is to gain power & fight with the strong fighter.
The best part about him is that he is always ready to fight. Even he knows that the opponent is stronger than him. He is a sayain & his abilities increase with each battle. So his character is matches his race.

Thank you for the response darksorrow. In dragonball/Z, against frezard Goku proves him self, against cell Gohan proves him self.However, in dragonball/GT there is a new monster that no one can defeat, but with this monster Vigita proves him self.He had a new family in earth, so there was no way that he would let the monster distroy earth. I want to tell you the details, but I don't want to spoil dragonball/GT for you since you still haven't seen it yet. And, yes Vigita is the best.

Thanks for making a good response & not telling me the story. I am waiting for the end of andaroid menance repeat. Once it is finished then i can watch it again.

huh? Vegita? I thought Son Goku does the saving earth even though it is not his planet. Vegita conquers the earth. Anyway, I like Trunks, I dont if that is the correct spelling. But I find him cute. And Goten too. I really like both of them.

Yes Vegeta tries to destroy the earth but it is on the first part of dragonball z. half part of the dragonball z and on dragonball/GT vegeta became one of the savior of earth.
